This exquisite private tour is perfect for everybody who wants to discover the most popular touristic attractions of the Icelandic South Coast as well as hidden gems. We will be making many stops for a coffee, lunch and we will give you as much time as to need to make beautiful photographs and enjoy Iceland in comfort.

The tour starts with the pick-up from your accommodation in Reykjavik with our comfortable jeep. Then we will head South to Urridafoss – Iceland’s most voluminous waterfall.

Seljalandsfoss, the famous waterfall with the path behind it. Make sure you bring your waterproof clothes as the patch goes right behind the waterfall and you will most likely get wet but the pictures you will be able to take from there are worth it. Just 5 min walk from the Seljalandsfoss in the canyon hides another beautiful waterfall Gljúfrabúi. Then we will continue to the tiny village of Skogar, best known for the nearby Skogafoss, a mighty waterfall visible from the road. A staircase winds up the grassy slope beside the waterfall, walk up there if you want to catch some spectacular views of the waterfall and the South Coast. On a sunny day, both waterfalls will be made even more beautiful by splendid rainbows.
After Skogafoss, we will drive to the cliffs of Dyrholaey and Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach with basalt columns and caves.
Vik comes next, this charming fishing village on the coast, famous for its volcanic beaches and sea stacks. Here we will have lunch before making our way back to Reykjavik, during which we will discover even more hidden gems and make a stop to see the Elves houses wedged into rocks.

To make this tour even more interesting we added an optional Ice cave tour in Myrdalsjokull Glacier sitting on top of the Katla – the most powerful volcano in Iceland.  The tour, operated by a partner company, takes about 2,5-3 hours and it is an off-the-beaten-path tour. You’ll walk inside the magical blue and black ice domes of this rare natural wonder. The view inside the Ice Cave is truly spectacular the combination of the colors of the ice, you will get the chance to see some fantastic black ice as well as some blue ice features. The Katla Ice Cave is genuinely unique. If you would like to join this tour, please let us know at the time of booking. Please, note that this tour is optional and is not included in the regular tour. Prices are 27900 ISK for adults and 22900 ISK for children.

It is also possible to add a Private Professional Photographer to your Tour. The photographer will accompany you during the whole tour and capture amazing and beautiful memories of your stay in Iceland. For more information please send us an email at [email protected]
